CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Chattanooga Zoo has been lit up once again with the start of the Asian Lantern Festival.

The event made its seasonal debut Tuesday night on November 26. The festival will continue Wednesday through Sunday nights until January 19, 2025.

Grab the whole family to enjoy the zoo after dark during the most wonderful time of the year!

Lanterns are displayed throughout the zoo and guide guests through the holiday magic.

In addition to seeing the lanterns, you can enjoy The Chien Hong School of Kung Fu on November 30 for a rhythmic ancestral dance.

The kids can also get a free picture with Santa Claus on select dates in December with event admission.
