I-75 Southbound shuts down due to a multi-vehicle crash

UPDATE: As of 7:30, I-75 Southbound has reopened and traffic is moving again.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – I-75 Southbound is shutdown near E. Brainerd Rd due to a multi-vehicle crash.

The crash was reported just after 1 A.M. on Tuesday.

Debris from the crash traveled to the northbound shoulder.

The crash has caused traffic to come to a standstill near I-75 South and Hwy 153

Traffic is being diverted off the East Brainerd exit headed southbound.
