Be dazzled from above and below with the holidays at Ruby Falls

Jaclyn Lewis joins News 12’s Amelia Greer to preview exciting holiday opportunities coming to Ruby Falls this season.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Ruby Falls has decorated above the largest cave waterfall and brought holiday spirit to the iconic castle and plaza.

The iconic massive Christmas tree returns to the front of Ruby Falls, marking it as landmark as soon as visitors arrive on top of Lookout Mountain.

For those who are unable to take the 75 minute tour of the cave in Ruby Falls, it is not required when visiting Ruby Falls. Visitors can skip the tour and enjoy all the holiday decorations with a hot chocolate from the Castle Café.

No need to rush up the mountain to see the decorations. Ruby Falls will be open through Christmas Eve, closed on Christmas, and the decorations will be up until New Year’s Day. Hours are from 8 A.M. to 8 P.M. but the final tour on Christmas Eve is at 4 P.M.

Jaclyn Lewis encourages visitors to do an evening tour to see the decorations in all its glory. She says it’s a fun activity to do with the family after a nice dinner.
