Erlanger up and running after experiencing unexpected network outage
UPDATE (1/22/2025): Erlanger announced that their systems have been restored following the computer network outage this morning.
Erlanger confirmed that the issue had no relation to any cyberattack.
All hospital and emergency services have resumed regular operations.
The elective surgeries scheduled for today have been cancelled, and patients will need to call to reschedule.
The following Erlanger Medical Group locations will still remain closed:
- Erlanger Palliative Care
- Erlanger Radiation Oncology
- Erlanger Infusion Centers
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Erlanger has reported an unexpected computer network outage.
The hospital reported the news this morning.
Erlanger hospitals still remain open, including all emergency rooms.
According to Erlanger, all Erlanger hospitals are on divert for ambulance traffic.
Expects for this are Trauma, High-Risk Obstetrics, and Pediatrics.
All elective surgeries scheduled for all hospitals January 22, 2025 have been cancelled.
Erlanger Medical Group practices remain open expect for the following:
- Erlanger Palliative Care
- Erlanger Radiation Oncology
- Erlanger Infusion Centers
Erlanger is actively working to resolve the issue, and will provide updates as they become available.
