UPDATE: Dalton Police identify the body found in a pond last week

Dalton, GA (WDEF) – The body found last Friday at Al Rollins Park in a pond has been identified as a local teen boy.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation used dental records to identify 13-year-old Raul Juan as the drowning victim.

Dalton Police officials say there were no signs of foul play at the scene or found during the autopsy.

Juan was reported missing by his mother Friday at 6 a.m. when she woke up to find him gone.

She says she last saw him around 1 a.m. 

Dalton Police continue to investigate what Juan was doing in the park before he drown.
