Tennessee sets new execution date for Harold Wayne Nichols

Serial rapist given death penalty in 1990 for the murder of Karen Pulley

 

NASHVILLE, Tennessee (WDEF) – Tennessee has set a new execution date for Chattanoogan HaroldHarold Wayne Nichols Wayne Nichols.

The state set dates for four death row inmates on Monday.

Nichols is now scheduled to die on December 11th.

He has faced several execution dates over the years.

Tennessee put all executions on hold three years ago as the Governor drew up new protocols for how they would be carried out.

But they are preparing to resume them again.

Nichols got the death penalty in 1990 for the murder of Karen Pulley.

He is a convicted serial rapist.
