Peyton Manning Back on Rocky Top For Football and Fundraiser
At the rate Peyton Manning gives back to Tennessee, it may not be long before the University itself will be re-named for the legendary Vols quarterback.
On Monday morning, Manning was on the lynx for a charity fundraiser golf tournament.
Later in the day, he awarded the Peyton Manning scholarships to four students.
Back in April, Manning announced he was giving the University $3,000,000.
Besides the gifts, Manning also uses this week to work out with a few Vols players, and he’s excited by the progress of quarterback Josh Dobbs.
"I don’t think it can be underestimated the importance of a bowl win for a young quarterback. It just does a lot for your confidence I think going into spring training. Going into this summer, the off-season training. I imagine I’m going to see a more confident guy."
