CPD responded to a shooting call finding a 44-year-old man dead

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police responded to a shooting call on March 15, 2025, at 6:15 p.m. in the 3700 block of Youngstown Road.

Upon arrival, officers found a 44-year-old man dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

The CPD Homicide Unit launched an investigation, while the Crime Scene Unit processed the area.

A representative from the Hamilton County Medical Examiner’s Office also arrived and transported the victim’s body for further examination.
