Former Chatt Prep basketball coach sentenced for domestic assault
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — More bad news for the Chattanooga Preparatory community.
On March 18, 2025, a former basketball coach, who led the team the state playoffs a few years ago, was ordered to go to jail.
Police say he punched his wife several times outside a restaurant near Hamilton Place.
Christoffer Collins was sentenced to 30 days in jail for domestic assault, but if he does not get into any further trouble, the judge has promised to wipe the conviction from his record.
The judge ordered him to attend anger management courses and marital counseling.
