Collegedale Springs Into Community Fun

COLLEGEDALE, Tenn. (WDEF) – Spring has officially sprung in Collegedale today as families gathered for the annual Spring Fling at The Commons.

The annual Spring Fling at The Commons brought the community together for a day full of family-friendly activities.

The event brought the community together with Easter egg hunts, pony rides, and plenty of sweet treats.

But beyond the fun and games, some local vendors were making a difference. One group was using the event as an opportunity to give back.

Inspired Tennessee, a nonprofit founded by Kristen and Erica Johnson, was on-site connecting with families. Their mission is all about uplifting communities through service projects, outreach, and acts of kindness.

Today, they were here spreading their message, engaging with visitors, and showing how small acts can make a big impact.

Of course, it wouldn’t be Spring Fling without plenty of entertainment. The Easter Bunny made a special appearance, posing for photos and bringing smiles to kids’ faces.

Local artisans and businesses lined the area, offering handcrafted goods and unique finds. With sunny skies and a great turnout, it was the perfect way to celebrate the season.

Hopefully, everyone got their fill of fun and maybe even a few extra Easter treats.
