Gambling Machine Round Up in Walker County

Walker County, GA (WDEF) – The GBI and Walker County Sheriff’s Department served warrants on gambling machines on Thursday.

More than 30 agents hit five businesses in the northern part of the county.

That includes two convenience stores, two suits in a strip mall and a tanning salon in Flintstone and Rossville.

They confiscated evidence on commercial gambling cases, including money and 16 unlicensed game machines.

State investigators say that players at the convenience stores got cash payouts, which is against the law.

The other businesses were not license to operate amusement machines.

GBI officials say felony arrests are pending in the cases.
