Meet News 12’s Pet of the Week, Gage!

He is a 2 year old fellow with an expressive face.

The Humane Educational Society (HES) says Gage does a splendid Husky vocal impression white in his kennel.

He’s quick to warm up to people, especially if he receives a butt scratch.

If given a butt scratch, Gage turns in circles and leans in with delight.

According to HES,  he’s started going to playgrounds with other dogs and has made many new friends.

He’s recently went off-site to an adoption event and HES learned how much he loves to lie down, sit in laps, and enjoy the sunshine.

Gage would love a good yard to run in, maybe with a buddy, and/or pleasant walks to continue his weight loss program.

HES says he’s pretty good on a leash, and doesn’t jump on people.
