Chattanooga garage completely destroyed by fire

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Early Sunday morning, Chattanooga firefighters prevented a house from going up in flames.

At 3:38 a.m. on April 6, 2025, Red Shift crews were dispatched to the 6300 block of Bonny Oaks Drive after several 911 callers reported seeing flames.

When crews arrived, they found a working fire in the garage and immediately began an aggressive attack.

While the garage was completely destroyed, firefighters were able to save the home.

Fortunately, no civilians or firefighters were injured.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
