McDonald’s Shamrock Shake Fundraiser Delivers Big Help to Local Families

A sweet fundraiser brought in big support for local families through Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chattanooga.

Local McDonald’s Owner/Operators presented a check for $5,526.25 to RMHC Chattanooga, celebrating the success of this year’s Shamrock Shake fundraiser. From February to March, participating McDonald’s locations donated 25 cents from every shake sold.

“Here locally, we’ve been running this initiative since February,” said AJ Johnson RMHC Chattanooga’s Vice President of Community Engagement.“Thanks to our generous customers and the support of our local McDonald’s teams, we were able to sell around 22,000 shakes. This funding is vital to the work we do.”

All proceeds will go directly toward housing and essential services for families with children in the hospital, helping to keep them close during critical times.
