Deborah Norville Says Farewell to Inside Edition After 30 Years
DALTON,GA -(WDEF)For three decades, Deborah Norville has been a trusted face on Inside Edition, delivering news with grace, professionalism, and unwavering dedication. Now, after 30 years, she’s saying goodbye.
“What I want to say right now is what a privilege it’s been to work with Inside Edition all these years—and to be invited into your homes every day,” Norville shared on Inside Edition.
Long before television stardom, Norville was just “Debbie” from Dalton, Georgia—a girl with big dreams. Her cousin and Dalton city councilman, Steve Farrow, remembers their early conversations.
“She said, ‘I think I’m going to go into broadcast journalism because it’s a great career for women.’ And I’d say she made the right choice,” Farrow said.
Though her career took her far, Norville never forgot where she came from.
“We’re all proud of her here in Dalton,” Farrow added. “She’s put our town on the map.”
As she signs off, Deborah Norville leaves behind a legacy of journalistic excellence and small-town heart.
