Georgia state senator Colton Moore considers U.S. Senate Bid

TRENTON, Ga. (WDEF) —  Trenton’s Colton Moore says he is considering running for the United State Senate.

Moore is currently the state senator for northwest Georgia.

He says if he’s elected, he would become one of the most conservative Senators in Washington.

So far, Governor Kemp and Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene have decided not to run for the Republican nomination.

Congressman Buddy Carter and state fire commissioner John King have entered the Republican race to challenge Jon Ossoff.
