Chattanooga Hosts First Ever DadFest

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Chattanooga celebrated Father’s Day in a big way with a brand-new event honoring the men who’ve made a difference in our lives.

This past weekend, Art 120 hosted the first-ever DadFest at the Chattanooga Choo Choo Gardens, bringing families together for a day full of music, memories, and appreciation.

From 11 to 4, the gardens were filled with the sounds of five live bands, including the high-energy Left Hand Hot Dog and the genre-bending group Dirty Cello.

Festivalgoers enjoyed an international food market, browsed local craft booths, and picked up unique gifts just in time for Father’s Day. Station Street was lined with vendors, adding to the festive feel.

The celebration also featured some lighthearted competition with prizes for Best Dad Joke, Best Dad Bod, and Most Festive Facial Hair, adding fun and laughs to the mix.

Whether honoring a dad, uncle, mentor, or caregiver, Chattanooga’s first DadFest was a heartfelt way to say thank you to the father figures who make a difference every day.
