Chatt State SkillsUSA Sendoff Ceremony

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Chattanooga State Community College gave a warm sendoff this morning to a group of students preparing to showcase their talents on a national stage.

The college held a special ceremony to celebrate its state champion SkillsUSA competitors before they head to Atlanta for the national competition.

The sendoff featured appearances from Mayor Tim Kelly and a representative from the Tennessee Board of Regents, all there to cheer on the students. 

From welding and barbering to health sciences and robotics, these students are among the best in Tennessee, and they are ready to compete against peers from across the country.
