Bradley County laser pointer arrest

Bradley County, TN (WDEF) – Bradley County deputies arrest a Chattanooga man after a 911 caller reports a silver Honda’s passenger on I-75 North was shining a green laser into other vehicles.

The caller said the laser made it difficult to see.

The caller also said the laser was shined into other vehicles and almost caused a wreck.

Deputies found the silver Honda and stopped it.

34-year-old Gary Dewayne Couey admitted to shining the laser into other vehicles.

He was arrested and charged with one count of Felony Reckless Endangerment.

The vehicle’s driver 34-year-old Brandi Rapier was charged with Misdemeanor Reckless Endangerment.
