Chattanooga police arrest 18-year-old suspect in connection with Paw Trail shooting

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) —  An 18-year-old suspect has been arrested in a shooting that occurred Monday evening on Paw Trail.

On July 28, 2025, at 7:29 p.m. officers with the Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) responded to the 4600 block of Paw Trail for a person shot call.

When officers arrived on scene, they found a 22-year-old male victim who sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

He was transported by EMS to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

CPD said thanks to quick response by nearby officers and cooperation from community members, a suspect was swiftly located and interviewed by a Homicide Unit detective.

Jametrious Miller was arrested and taken into custody.

He’s being charged with Aggravated Assault and Reckless Endangerment.
