These 24 high school and middle school students were chosen from across Hamilton County and they are all on full scholarships thanks to the Chattanooga Technology Council".

The teens spent Wednesday designing film posters and writing code to customize their own computer software.

Teachers feel learning a computer language this young gives these kids a head-start both for a college degree and a STEM career.

In 2013 computer programmers were ranked amongst the highest paid workers in the US. Their average salary was just over 80,000 dollars.
The kids will also work on games design and web apps.
They will take part in a Demo Day this Friday.
