Chattanooga Lookouts Play Final Regular Season Game at AT&T Field, Prepare for New Stadium

CHATTANOOGA,TN (WDEF) — The Chattanooga Lookouts wrapped up their final regular season game at AT&T Field this weekend, giving fans a chance to reflect on decades of memories and celebrate the historic ballpark before moving to a new stadium next season.

For many, AT&T Field has been more than just a place to watch baseball—it’s been a hub for summer nights, fireworks, home runs, and community traditions.

“I always liked coming to the Lookouts game. It’s good entertainment, and it’s fun to be here,” said longtime fan Ron Maggett.

Employees like Chris Walker say the stadium has been about connecting with fans as much as the games themselves.

“Helping people and also memories of how long we’ve been here, and I love helping customers and making everybody happy and smile,” Walker said.

Rich Marzingo, president of the Lookouts, reflected on the team’s history at AT&T Field and the excitement surrounding their future at Erlanger Park.

“A great run here at AT&T Field, but the future park is gonna be amazing. We’re looking forward to the 2026 season already,” Marzingo said.

He added that the farewell weekend gave the team a chance to honor the stadium properly.

“It’s been a wonderful place for baseball for the last 25 years in Chattanooga, and it’s kind of the beginning of a new era for us,” he said.

While AT&T Field will soon close its doors, next season marks the start of a new chapter at Erlanger Park, where fans and families can continue making memories for generations to come.
