Gas Prices
CHATTANOOGA, Ga. (WDEF)-Gas prices are dropping. According to AAA the price of a gallon of gas could be around 3 dollars soon. It would be the first time in four years. Tennessee prices continued drop last week falling 3 cents on average. The national average has dropped to $3.03. That’s a 5 cent drop since last week. AAA experts say there are several factors behind the drop including falling crude oil prices and lower gas demand. The most expensive metro markets are Nashville, Cleveland and Jackson Tennessee. The least expensive include Chattanooga, Clarksville and Morristown.
