UPDATE: AT&T posted on its Facebook page Tuesday night around 10 p.m. that "Our engineers resolved the issue, and service is up and running for all customers in Tennessee. We know you count on us, and we’re sorry for this inconvenience."

AT&T, Verizon and Sprint all report outages Tuesday night in the southeastern U.S.
Gizmodo.com reports large outages in Nashville, Chattanooga, and Knoxville, as well as parts of Alabama and Kentucky.
The outages impact mobile, landline and data services.
AT&T and Sprint have released messages on social media confirming the outages.
More than 10,000 people nationwide have reported the outage on downdetector.com.
