Chattanooga Valley Lions Club marks 22 years of holiday toy drive
FLINTSTONE, GA. (WDEF) – In Flintstone, Georgia, the Chattanooga Valley Lions Club is celebrating 22 years of its annual holiday donation drive.
In the spirit of giving, community members gathered to support children in need throughout the area.
Four wheelers, golf carts, and dirt bikes lined the road as riders revved their engines, dropped off toys, and tossed out candy to the crowd.
Leon Ellis helped launch the tradition and says seeing it continue brings him joy.
“Well, it makes me feel mighty good,” Ellis said. “I started this after seeing the parade in Fort O and my wife said we could not do it. I said we can. So here we are.”
The event supports the Stocking Full of Love program, which helps provide gifts and Christmas joy to families in the community.
