Six Arrested After Fight at Tyner Academy Basketball Game

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Six individuals have been arrested after a fight that occurred near the end of the Tyner Academy and Howard High School basketball game on November 20.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) responded to the Tyner Academy parking lot at the Ty-Hi Drive entrance.

Nearly ten people appeared to be assaulting one individual near parked HCSO patrol vehicles, according to the HCSO.

One vehicle sustained damage.

A taser and OC spray were used to diminish the incident.

All suspects and victims fled the scene.

The following six adult suspects have been identified and arrested:

  • Paul Lavender
  • Joseph Crutcher
  • Kenneth Moore
  • Rodriquez McGlocton
  • Ta’Shean Kelly
  • Keyaun Mitchell

They are facing the following charges:

  • Evading Arrest
  • Reckless Endangerment
  • Aggravated Riot
  • Disorderly Conduct
  • Vandalism
