Active Brushfire on Signal Mountain Prompts Emergency Response

SIGNAL MOUNTAIN, Tenn. — The Signal Mountain Fire Department (SMFD) and the Chattanooga Fire Department (CFD) responded to an active brushfire on the front of the mountain on December 15.
The brushfire is near Palisades Road and the space house.
The fire appears to be under control but there is still smoke that could impact many of the Signal Mountain residents, according to the SMFD.
