Domestic dispute leads to shooting in McMinn County

MCMINN COUNTY, Tennessee(WDEF) – The McMinn County Sheriff’s office is investigating a shooting that sent one person to the hospital Saturday night.

According to McMinn County dispatch, the shooting occurred inside a residence located on County Road 788.

Dispatch confirmed to WDEF the shooting was a result of a domestic dispute between family members inside the home.

The victim has yet to be identified and there is no word on that person’s condition.
