Teen victim dies from multiple gunshot wounds

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) is investigating a homicide that happened yesterday 7:00 pm in the 1100 block of Jackson Ave. 

According to the CPD, officers responded and located Wallace Milam, age 18, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Milam was treated on scene, then transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

They say the suspect’s identification remains pending and investigators are actively working to develop leads and gather additional evidence.
