Santa Spotted Traveling Down Ocoee River

How does Santa get ready for his long, cold journey on Christmas Eve?

TVA found he warms up with a brisk trip down the Ocoee River.

TVA and the Tennessee State Parks teamed up to offer a special off-season water release on the river ten days ago.

Hundreds of rafters and kayakers joined Santa for the trip.

They were in kayaks and wet suits.

But Santa was piloting a large raft down the river in full Santa uniform.

Officials say he survived the trip down stream so he should be ready to go tomorrow night.

The river is generally dry during the winter months, but not on this one white water day in December.
