Power Outages Possible on Cagle Mountain Due to Vehicle Crash

Power outages on Cagle Mountain could be possible on Highway 111 to Highway 8 to the end of the Sequachee Valley Electric Cooperative’s (SVEC) territory due to a vehicle crash.

A tractor trailer left the roadway and struck a utility pole, taking down a three-phase line, according to the SVEC.

Crews are responding to the area and will be making repairs.

SVEC says due to the extent of the damage, this could be an extended outage.
