United Airlines adding a Chattanooga to Denver flight this summer

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga gets a new flight to Denver just in time for the summer vacation season.

United Airlines is offering  non-stop Saturday flights beginning on May 23rd through October 24th.

“Our local passengers have made it clear that Denver access is a priority, and we’ve worked closely with United to make it happen,” said April Cameron, president and CEO of the Chattanooga Airport.

“This route opens up the West in a way we’ve never had before. We want to thank United for its ongoing commitment to Chattanooga. It’s a testament to their belief in this market and to every passenger who chooses to fly local. That loyalty is what drives airlines to invest here.”

United will use an Embraer E-175 regional jet.

“I’ve been advocating for a flight to Denver since I took office and United has delivered this new destination for Chattanooga,” said Chattanooga Mayor Tim Kelly. “This route will improve access for residents heading to the Rockies and create stronger ties for our growing business community. Air service development is economic development, and this is another example of how our city keeps moving forward.”
