Police investigate shooting involving teen suffering from gunshot wound

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn, (WDEF) – The Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) is investigating a shooting that happened on Friday, January 16, around 9:30pm on the 1000 block of Sheridan Ave.

According to CPD, when officers arrived on scene, they located a 19-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Hamilton County EMS transported the victim to a local hospital.

Right now, they say all active leads are being followed up on, as this is an active and ongoing investigation.
