Urban League providing free tax preparation for households

Dr. Reginald Smith II with the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga joins News 12’s Amelia Greer as tax season kicks off and panic settles in for many. ULGC provides an easy and affordable option for taxpayers who don’t want to put even more of a strain on their wallet!

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Tax season has begun and the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga is helping households file them for free.

For households earning $70K or less, they can get tax preparation help for free through ULGC’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance.

All that is needed is to bring a photo ID, social security card, and all tax documents for each household member.
