Citico Avenue Shooting Leaves One Injured

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — One person was injured by gunfire near the 2000 block of Citico Avenue on January 26 around 2:40 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found a 24-year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound, according to the Chattanooga Police Department (CPD).

He was taken to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS.

CPD says suspect identification is pending.

Investigators are working to develop leads and gather additional evidence.
