14-year old receives wish to visit TVA

One 14-year old boy received his wish to visit TVA’s infrastructure Thursday morning.

Noah Caldwell traveled to Chattanooga with his parents from Covington, Tennessee. Noah is wheel chair bond and suffers from several disabilities. Through Make-A-Wish, he was able to meet with TVA representatives and find out more on how TVA generates and transmits energy. Noah plans to attend an engineering school after high school. Noah Caldwell said, "I didn’t know much about the nuclear power plant. Like I’ve never really researched nuclear power. But when I went there, I learned a lot. And I’ve never actually researched how they control this stuff. Except one or two data researches."

While in Chattanooga, Noah and his family plan to visit attractions like the Tennessee Aquarium.
