CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The hills are alive with a historical tour rolling through town just in time for Valentine’s Day.
‘The Sound of Music’ presented by The Tivoli Theatre Foundation hosts eight shows during its run.
Taking on the lead roles of ‘Maria’ and ‘Captain von Trapp,’ Cayleigh Capaldi and Kevin Earley bring their esteemed backgrounds in performing to the stage.
The two come from generations of talent. Capaldi shared her family’s history dates back to early Vaudeville.
During their stretch at Memorial Auditorium, the two leads are hoping to share the magic of Rodgers & Hammerstein.
The Broadway show took center stage before turning to the silver screen in 1965!
Now decades later, the production continues to move audiences and encourage them to climb every mountain.
