Father of Destiny’s Child, Dr. Mathew Knowles, to visit UTC
Dr. Mathew Knowles will be making his journey back to UTC before the end of the month! The esteemed university lecturer is also the proud Dad of Beyoncé and Solange Knowles. UTC Vice Chancellor Stacy Lightfoot brings News 12’s Chip Chapman up to speed about the upcoming fireside chat on campus.
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – University of Tennessee of Chattanooga is celebrating Black History Month and will be ending their series of programming with a bang with a Fireside Chat featuring Dr. Mathew Knowles, the father of Beyoncé and Solange Knowles!
Dr. Knowles actually spent some time at UTC as he played for their basketball team way back in the day. Now he’s back to talk about leadership, entrepreneurship, and health. Vice Chancellor Stacy Lightfoot will be moderating.
The event will be on February 27 at 6:30 PM at the UTC Fine Arts Center in the Roland Hayes Concert Hall.
