TV Tuesday: Limitless, Under The Dome, Stephen Colbert
One of the new CBS dramas this fall is "inspired" by a movie.
Remember the Bradley Cooper movie from 2011 when a new drug lets him tap fully into the brain?
Now the movie becomes an action thriller for TV.
The concept is the same.. the mysterious drug allows our her to access 100% of his brain for the greater good.
And Cooper has signed on for a recurring role to introduce the new guy.
Take a look at the preview.
Limitless will premiere on Tuesday, September 22nd at 10 PM, where it will take on Neil Patrick Harris’s new show on NBC and Beyond the Tank on ABC.
The new show will also give us a Dexter reunion this fall.
Jennifer Carpenter is a co-star on Limitless.
Desmond Harrington, who played her love interest on Dexter, will appear in one Limitless episode this fall, with the possibility of recurring.

CBS today announced that this will be the final season for Under the Dome.
The summer series will finish three seasons.
The series finale will air a week from Thursday on September 10th.
CBS is promises "the dome coming down as dramatically as it went up."
And all mysteries will be revealed.
The new Late Show debuts a week from tonight on CBS.
We’ve shown you the guest for week 1, but will there be a letdown for week 2?
How about Emily Blunt Jake Gyllenhall, Kevin Spacey, Willie Nelson and Carol Burnett.
But Colbert has more than just Hollywood stars like Justice Stephen Breyer, United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon, and Presidential candidate Senator Bernie Sanders.
Colbert makes the cover of Time Magazine this week as the cover boy.
But he suggests converting it into a handy Halloween mask as "Creepy Stalker Guy."
