Creature Comforts Beer Garden to open in Chattanooga’s Foundries District
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Creature Comforts Brewing Company has announced it is opening the Creature Comforts Beer Garden in Chattanooga’s Foundries District.
They say the Beer Garden will offer locals a gathering place inside the historic foundry building, called “The Shed,” which is adjacent to the Chattanooga Lookouts’ new home at Erlanger Park.
“Since entering the Chattanooga market in 2022, this community has resonated strongly with Creature Comforts. The Beer Garden is more than a taproom — it’s a front-row seat to Chattanooga’s next great chapter in the development of the Foundries District. Fostering human connection is our purpose, and creating welcoming spaces like this — designed for people to come together — is one way we bring that purpose to life. We’re grateful to be embraced by the Chattanooga community, and we’re excited to grow with the District.”
– Creature Comforts co-founder & CEO Adam Beauchamp said.
Creature Comforts Brewing Company is expected to open in April.
At launch, the Beer Garden will be open on most game days, non-game day weekends, and other occasions, including community-driven activations, live music, art, and local food events.
They say as the Foundries District continues to take shape, Creature Comforts plans to move into a permanent, long-term location next door within the project along the Riverwalk.
“We are thrilled that the Chattanooga community’s first experience of the Foundry District will be the Creature Comforts Beer Garden. It will be such a fun and rewarding moment to see people experience the inside of this grand structure that they’ve been driving by for so many years. Creature Comforts is a beloved and celebrated brand, well-known for creating spaces that become favorite gathering spots in their communities. This is the first of many wonderful things to come in the Foundries District.”
– New City President Jim Irwin said.
