Fort Oglethorpe invites community to free Easter Egg Scramble
FORT OGLETHORPE, Ga. (WDEF) – The City of Fort Oglethorpe will host its annual Easter Egg Scramble this Saturday, March 28, at noon.
The event is free and open to the community.
Families will also have the opportunity to take photos with the Easter Bunny.
Children will be divided into age groups to ensure everyone has a fair chance to participate.
Bobby Daniels, Community Engagement Administrator, says the event is all about bringing people together.
“The idea is to bring people together, of all walks of life, young, old, and in this case, very young, and just have fun,” Daniels said. “And enjoy our city that we call home and that we love a whole lot, by the way.”
The Easter Egg Scramble will take place at Gilbert-Stephenson Park.
Organizers encourage families to arrive on time and bring a camera or phone to capture a free photo with the Easter Bunny.
