Firearm discovered on Bradley Central High School campus

A misdemeanor citation has been issued to an individual following a firearm being discovered in a vehicle on Bradley Central High School’s campus on March 30, 2026.

The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office says they investigated an incident after a firearm was discovered in a vehicle on campus.

They say during a routine check of the school parking lot, school personnel located the firearm in an occupied vehicle and notified the School Resource Officers, who responded and began an investigation.

A misdemeanor citation was issued to the student responsible for the vehicle.
