CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The 13th Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt hosted by local rapper Coogi Doogi returns this year with bigger and better plans.
This year, the event will be held at the Tennessee Riverpark on Easter Sunday. You can celebrate the holiday with services throughout the morning and then hunt some eggs that afternoon!
The annual community egg hunt will kick off at 3 p.m. on April 5.
Along with the massive Easter Egg Hunt for kids of all ages, attendees can enjoy food, games, and inflatables!
Coogi says the event is entirely free and he hopes to continue the legacy of philanthropy he learned from his family.
He credits the creation of the event to his late brother, Bro Bro. Bro Bro was known for always giving back to people and taking care of the children in the community.
Event sponsors include Warren & Griffin and Food City.
WTCI PBS have also donated some special edition pairs of sneakers, which will be a grand prize for certain games.
Donations are still needed to cover the Riverpark with eggs!
