Erlanger Health names Dr. Jason E. Cox Chief Medical Officer of Erlanger East

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Erlanger Health has announced that Jason E. Cox, M.D., has joined Erlanger East as Chief Medical Officer, effective April 20.

A board-certified family medicine physician, Dr. Cox has served as a medical director for multiple Tennessee health systems, according to Erlanger.

“Dr. Cox knows this community, and he knows what it means to put patients first. His experience and his values are exactly what Erlanger East needs as we continue raising the bar for the people we serve.”

Cox brings more than two decades of hospital medicine leadership to the role, including his work as Medical Director of the Erlanger Hospitalist Group.
