City of Chattanooga Stormwater Management Division to host annual rain barrel distribution day May 2nd

The City of Chattanooga Stormwater Management Division has announced the return of their annual Rain Barrel Distribution Day on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 1001 E 12th Street, Chattanooga, TN 37403.

They say Chattanooga residents can purchase a 50-gallon Ivy Rain Barrel at a subsidized price of $76.50.

Eligible participants can receive a $50 rebate per barrel through the City’s RainSmart Rewards Program.

They say rain barrels are an effective way to capture and conserve rainwater, helping to reduce stormwater runoff and lower water bills while promoting sustainable water use.

Deadline to place online orders: Wednesday, April 22nd 2026.
