Young Athletes learn from the pros at Braves Clinic in Ringgold

RINGGOLD, Ga. (WDEF) – Young athletes in Ringgold had the opportunity to learn from the pros this afternoon.

An Atlanta Braves Youth Baseball and Softball Clinic was held at The Batter’s Box training facility, giving kids hands on instruction from Braves trainers and alumni.

Participants took part in drills, games, and fundamentals training designed to help improve their skills while having fun.

Former Major League pitcher Kevin Gryboski said the event created a positive and engaging experience for everyone involved.

“We have had a lot of good feedback from the kids. They are having a great day. It is beautiful weather, a great facility, and everyone is looking forward to learning the game of baseball and softball,” Gryboski said.

In addition to the training, children received a Braves clinic shirt and hat, along with opportunities to meet instructors and collect autographs.

Organizers say events like this not only teach the fundamentals of the game but also inspire young athletes to continue growing their love for baseball and softball.
