Revelry and merriment comes to Coolidge Park for the first ever Chattanooga Renassiance Faire!
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Hear ye, hear ye! For the first time in history, Chattanooga will step back in time for a day filled with royalty, knights, jesters, and plenty of roasted turkey legs!
The Chattanooga Renassiance Faire will begin their inaugural event on May 30 at 10 AM at Coolidge Park. The faire will consist of plenty of vendors, performers, and costumes, with many encouraged to join in on the fun.
The event was put on by Verre Noir which hosts a themed Night Market on Frazier Avenue on the last Saturday of each month. They held a Renassiance Themed Night Market in the past and received a great turn out, which resulted in the creation of the Chattanooga Renassiance Faire.
The event is free to the public, but for those wanting be fully immersed and join the royal court, there is a King & Queen’s Feast which is a ticketed performance at 12 PM with a catered meal.
