Burger Week winners announced
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Chattanooga has officially named its Burger Week winners.
In the 2026 event, over 40,000 burgers were consumed.

By pairing that passion with a mission to fight food insecurity, we’ve proven that the community’s heart is just as big as its appetite.”

The 2026 Chattanooga Burger Week Winners:
Best Overall Burger: Zaya 1943 Korean Steakhouse
○ The 1943 Dry-Aged Reserve Burger: A masterclass in flavor featuring a quarter-pound blend of
wagyu and dry-aged beef, flame-seared and topped with golden-crisp panko-crusted cheese,
toasted sesame aioli, and thick-cut marinated tomatoes on a buttery brioche bun.
Most Creative Burger: Attack of the Tatsu
○ Menchi Katsu Sando: An innovative fusion featuring a soy-marinated beef and mozzarella patty,
yuzu mayo, tonkatsu sauce, and shredded cabbage.
Best Classic Burger: Hoppy’s North River Corner Market
○ Swiss Onion Burger: A crowd-pleasing, perfectly executed grilled beef patty topped with Swiss
cheese and slow-cooked caramelized onions on a toasted bun.
In partnership with Chattanooga Whiskey, the festival raised money for the Chattanooga Area Food Bank. Chattanooga Burger Week shares this contribution is enough to provide 5,000 meals to neighbors facing food insecurity.
