Behind the Curtain: Dollywood Food Edition

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WDEF) – While many come to Dollywood for fun rides, performances, and the overall appreciation of Dolly Parton, but many come to the park for their delicious food!

News 12’s Amelia Greer took a trip to Dollywood to learn how their renowned chefs are able to make delicious desserts 9 to 5, or should we say 3 AM to 7 PM!

Amelia learns from Chef Christopher Seabrook on how a 25lb apple pie is made, which weighs 3lbs per slice. Then, she takes a trip to the Grist Mill to learn from Chef Bob Brown on how their iconic cinnamon bread is made, which sells thousands upon thousands of loaves a day.

If thrilling rides is too much, guests can still have a thrilling time at Dollywood by digging in some pie or scarfing down from bread during a delightful performance.
