Cleveland High School brings graduation to student at Erlanger Children’s Hospital
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Cleveland High School brought graduation to Erlanger Children’s Hospital in Chattanooga for senior Ismael Palomino Davila, who is battling childhood cancer and is unable to walk with his classmates at graduation.
Surrounded by family, friends, and classmates wearing blue caps and gowns, Ismael was honored with a special graduation celebration filled with cake, confetti, and Raider pride.
“This is what family looks like at Cleveland High School. Ismael is a Raider, and it was important to us that he felt the love and support of his school community as he reached this milestone. We are incredibly proud of him, and we were honored to celebrate his graduation alongside his family, friends, and classmates.”
– Bob Pritchard, Principal of Cleveland High School said.
CHS Principal Bob Pritchard, Assistant Principal Karen Hall, and Dr. Jeff Elliott, Director of Schools, presented Ismael with his diploma during the celebration.
